3.If moving to another country with pet: Since travel regulations change all the time, we strongly advise you to contact one of the specialized International Pet Transport Companies to make all the arrangements. Here are some useful websites:

If you decide you do not want to use the pet transportation services and take care of all paperwork yourself, please follow these steps:
- Contact CFIA office at 587-230-2468 between the hours of 8 am – 4 pm Monday – Friday to obtain the correct paperwork for your travel destination (see contact info for CFIA above). You will need to bring those forms to us when you book your appointment. It is your responsibility to obtain the right documents for the country of destination. We will fill and sign the forms you provide us. Once forms are signed by our veterinarians, you need to return to the CFIA Office and have the forms checked and signed by the CFIA Official Veterinarian. - Fill out the form below (or the printable one at the end and return it to us) at least 5 days prior to your appointment
- Book a consultation appointment with us – please allow at least 60 minutes for this appointment

You can check travel.gc.ca, type “travelling with pets” in the search bar and choose the country of destination from the list provided.
Please be aware that:
- Some certificates need to be issued 10 days prior to travelling
- Some countries require the veterinarian to administer a specific deworming medication to your pet 24 – 120 hours prior to travelling
- Some countries require you to have Rabies Blood tests done 180 days prior to entering the country.
