Samantha is originally from BC but moved to the town of Strathmore at the age of 2. She has grown up with animals all her life. She started pet sitting at a young age and has always loved the idea of working with them as a career. 

 

Samantha attended Bow Valley College for the Veterinary Office Assistant program and then started a job at a boarding facility to gain more experience with animals. She completed the Animal Health Technology program at Olds College and graduated from the program in June 2024. Samantha completed her practicum at Chestermere Veterinary Clinic and after graduating from her program stayed on as an RVT. 

 

Samantha enjoys doing dental procedures as well as tech appointments like Librela injections, nail trims and bloodwork. She is Level 1 Fear Free Certified. Samantha’s family includes her mom, dad, brother, sister, and grandparents. She owns many dogs and cats. Samantha enjoys going hiking, riding quads, swimming, and loves to travel.
