Ceanna Savage
Client Care Specialist
Vet Student
Ceanna was born and raised in Calgary. She is currently in the biological sciences program at the University of Calgary with a concentration on biodiversity and conservation. She hopes to apply to the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine soon. Ceanna began her work with animals in 2021 at a dog daycare and spa. Since then she has been volunteering as a dog caregiver at AARCS Safe Haven.
Ceanna joined the Chestermere team as a Client Care Specialist in 2023. She feels it is an honour to get to spend time with pets and see their personality shine as you gain their trust. A career in vet medicine is her way of bringing comfort to pets and their owners, while also pursuing her interests in biology and medicine. Working at the clinic has solidified her desire to pursue a career in vet medicine. She loves being surrounded by a compassionate team who share her love of animals. Ceanna also loves seeing the care owners have for their fur-babies and enjoys learning and experiencing new things every day.
Ceanna grew up with a family dog named Caramel. She recently adopted her pup a great pyrenees mix Persphone and loves watching her learn and grow every day. She has a big family, but is closest with her sister who she has always looked up to. They share a passion for animals and volunteer at AARCS together. Ceanna grew up taking Karate classes and playing Field Hockey. Her current hobbies include baking, reading, and taking shelter dogs on hikes with her sister.
She is Fear Free Level 2 certified.
